This weekend, gather with your friends and family in Downtown Atlanta to honor our nation's service members. The holiday, commemorating the anniversary of the end of World War I on November 11th, 1918, honors U.S. veterans of all wars. 38th Annual Atlanta Veterans Day Parade

This year’s Parade proceeds down Peachtree Street toward Centennial Olympic Park, The World of Coca Cola, and Georgia Aquarium. The parade will end at the intersection of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street. Throughout the parade, attendees will enjoy seeing bands, bagpipers, floats, vintage cars, military vehicles and tanks, and much more!
The Veterans Festival
November 9th

Pemberton Place near the World of Coca-Cola
The Veterans Festival will feature many exhibitor tents including Veteran service associations and other great organizations that provide support to our Veterans. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a rockin' performance from the 116th Army Band. The festival is free and open to the public.

The Georgia Veteran's Day Association’s annual fundraiser will celebrate the association’s 38th year through special tributes to our Veterans and to the men and women who are serving our Nation today. An estimated 500 guests will gather to enjoy a delightful black-tie evening of dining, music, and dancing! Events include a silent auction and social hour followed by dinner and the evening program. World of Coca-Cola Military Ticket Offer

Military members (active duty, reserves, and retirees) can visit World of Coca-Cola free of charge year-round, but Veterans Day is extra special. From Friday, Nov. 1, to Monday, Nov. 11, members of the Armed Forces may purchase up to four half-price general admission tickets for their friends and family to join them in visiting the attraction.

Visitors can join Children’s Museum of Atlanta in saluting Veterans, current military members and everyday heroes with themed programming throughout Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Imaginators will do a special reading of Veterans: Heroes in Our Neighborhood. After that, little ones are welcome to participate in a Veterans Day parade! Fun activities will also be available in the Arts Studio & Build It Lab.
